is it too early to label this a classic?

Ulric really did his homework on this offering. This is a very well produced book, solid binding, heavy pages, dust jacket and even a silk ribbon marker. There is an impressive mix of well chosen contemporary and vintage images and a thoughtfully laid out division of materials. The book is divided into two parts. The first part treats the philosophy, beliefs and culture of this military organization and the second showcases an impressive collection of its myriad artifacts. The overall work leaves one with a much greater understanding of the SS and its members. This book had to have taken an enormous amount of time and research to produce. Only someone with Ulric's vast related background could do justice to such a project.

Great Reference Book into the Algemeine SS Uniforms and Accoutrements

Great book accurate description of rare SS uniforms and accoutrements. The photography is stunning and the descriptive narrative is good for the collector and historian alike.
